What a profile is, and what it is not
A profile is a page on salonica.app showing your business name, category, area, website, map link and links to your booking page or menu. It includes checked details, photos you have permission to publish and the date of the last check. The languages depend on your plan.
It is not an advertising banner, a review score or a place in our area comparison. Editorial verdicts, the area comparison and the local contributors' notes are never for sale, and a profile is marked as promoted wherever it appears.

Where a profile appears
Each profile has its own page and a compact card placed after the relevant guide: a stay profile near the where-to-stay and area guides, a dining profile near the food guide, an experience near the events or family guides. Cards sit after the editorial text and after the labelled comparison link, never inside them.
Plans with more languages also place the card on neighbouring guides in the EL Premier destination network, so a visitor planning a wider trip meets the same checked facts.

Prices exclude VAT where it applies. Additional units under the same owner or brand receive a 40% discount on the chosen plan, on the first year and on renewals. The plan is proposed after the eligibility check, based on languages, material and the level of detail needed.

How it works
- Send the inquiry below with your website, map link and a description of what you offer visitors.
- We check eligibility: a real business in or around Thessaloniki, verifiable facts and a genuine use for a visitor.
- You receive a draft of the profile facts to correct and approve before any payment.
- The profile is published with the promoted label, the last-check date and your approved actions.
- Renewal and optional monthly care keep hours, links, prices and seasonality current.
We never sell a ranking, a recommendation, a review score or a place in the area comparison. A profile can be paused or ended at any time, and the page states clearly when its facts were last checked.
Frequently asked questions
Does a profile make my business a Salonica recommendation?
No. A published profile will be labelled as promoted and sit outside the editorial text. Any future contributor visit note will be dated and independent; it cannot be bought.
Can I publish prices or availability on the profile?
A profile links to your own booking engine, menu or price list. Salonica does not publish live prices or availability and does not take reservations.
What happens when my details change during the season?
Send corrections at any time; material corrections are updated in every published language. Monthly care adds scheduled checks so hours, links and seasonal notes do not go stale.
