Airport / eastern side: plan your stay

The airport and eastern arrival zone suit a very early or late flight, or repeated work nearby. ‘Near the airport’ is a search description, not proof of a walkable terminal connection.

At a glance: Consider this area for an early or late flight, or work near the airport. Confirm the exact transfer before booking.

Mornings and evenings

Separate the night before departure from the rest of your holiday. If you plan several central evenings, compare the repeated returns before committing every night to an airport-side address.

Arrival and daily journeys

The airport lists 1X/1N, 79, 2X and 3X, with the bus terminal at Arrivals outside Terminal 1 Exit 4. Match the current service to the property rather than assuming a shuttle exists.

Before you book

  • Obtain the exact transfer method, operating hours, collection point and any charge from the accommodation. Check late check-in, early departure and a fallback if a planned transfer is unavailable.
  • Map the exact entrance and the last 500 metres, including gradients, steps and crossings. Ask the property about step-free access rather than assuming it from the area.
  • Confirm room orientation, recent noise reports, check-in arrangements and cancellation terms. If driving, get explicit confirmation of a parking space for your vehicle and dates.

When another base works better

Compare a central base if city visits dominate. An airport transfer happens once in each direction; the journeys repeated every day may be more important to your overall stay.
